We offer a variety of ways to give financial support to St. John's Catholic Newman Center through the Newman Foundation, including online.
Cash or check — please make checks payable to "St. John's Catholic Newman Center" and address to St. John's Catholic Newman Center, Attn: Advancement Office, 604 E. Armory Ave. Champaign, IL 61820.
Online — For convenience, make your gift online through a secure webpage. See Online Giving for more information. Gifts can be made with a credit card, or by direct debit from a checking or savings account. Additionally, recurring gifts can also be set up on this page. For assistance, please contact the Advancement Office, 217-255-6620.
Memorials and Honorariums — A financial contribution in memory or honor of someone is a special tribute that also assists the Newman Mission. A tasteful acknowledgement will be sent to the honoree or family member.
Annual Fund — An Annual Appeal is mailed various times throughout the calendar year, seeking funding for the many programs and ministries of St. John's Catholic Newman Center. Since St. John's receives no diocesan support, annual funding from alumni and friends is critical.
Estate and Planned Gifts — The Newman Endowment seeks to provide long-term financial support for St. John's Catholic Newman Center by maintaining a substantial investment portfolio. Your estate gift through your will or a legacy gift while still living will help build our endowment. Please see our Planned Giving [link to new page] site to learn more.
Non-Cash Gifts — Appreciated assets such as real estate, stocks, corporate bonds, mutual funds, life insurance policies, coins, etc. are beneficial for SJCNC to the extent that they can be liquidated or held for additional appreciation. Such gifts are deductible for personal or corporate tax purposes to the fullest extent of the law.
