Newman Hall residents are entitled to 500 free pages of black & white printing per semester. Newman Hall uses the PaperCut Mobility Print software to enable your printing from anywhere on the Newman wireless network, using mobile, Windows, or Mac devices.

To print at Newman Hall, follow the instructions listed for your device below.

For all printing, please note:
  • Newman Hall Papercut printers are black & white only. To print in color for a $0.20/page fee, please see the Hall Office.
  • Newman Hall Papercut printers currently print single-side only; duplexing is not currently enabled. IT staff are working to configure duplexed printing as soon as possible.
  • Residents must be connected to the Newman Hall Resident or Public wifi networks to connect to the printers.
  1. Download and install the PaperCut Mobility Print Printer Setup for Windows (pc-mobility-print-printer-setup.exe).
  2. When prompted, enter your Newman Hall Computer Lab login and password (given to you at Move In).
  3. Once installed, choose “printqueue PaperCut” from your print menu as the printer destination and print your document.
  4. Go to one of the Print Release Stations located in the 1South Computer Lab or the Newman Hall Lobby.
  5. At the Print Release Station, enter your Newman Computer Lab login and password
  6. Search for your print job in the queue listed under your username.
  7. Hit “Print” to send your job to the printer.

NOTE: All residents have a $50 credit per semester, which translates to 500 pages of printing included with your room & board each semester.

  1. There is no need to install any software when using a Mac O/S.
  2. When you are ready to print your document, select “printqueue PaperCut” from Nearby Printers. Remember that you must be on the Newman Hall wireless network.
  3. Enter your Newman Hall Computer Lab login and password (given to you at Move In).
  4. Go to one of the Print Release Stations located in the 1South Computer Lab or the Newman Hall Lobby.
  5. At the Print Release Station, enter your Newman Computer Lab login and password.
  6. Search for your print job in the queue listed under your username.
  7. Hit “Print” to send your job to the printer.NOTE: All residents have a $50 credit, which translates to 500 pages of printing, included with your room & board per semester.

  2. Using the Print feature, select “printqueue PaperCut” as the printer destination.
  3. Enter your Newman Hall Computer Lab login and password (given to you at Move In) and hit “OK.”
  4. Go to one of the Print Release Stations located in the 1South Computer Lab or the Newman Hall Lobby.
  5. At the Print Release Station, enter your Newman Computer Lab login and password.
  6. Search for your print job in the queue, listed under your username.
  7. Hit “Print” to send your job to the printer.

  1. Install the PaperCut Mobility Print app on Google Play
  2. Go to your Android Setting for Printing
  3. Tap “Mobility Print” and toggle “Enable.” Exit out of Settings.
  4. Print your document by choosing “printqueue PaperCut.”
  5. Enter your Newman Hall Computer Lab login and password.
  6. Go to one of the Print Release Stations located in the 1South Computer Lab or the Newman Hall Lobby.
  7. At the Print Release Station, enter your Newman Hall Computer Lab login and password.
  8. Search for your print job in the queue, listed under your username.
  9. Hit “Print” to send your job to the printer.

When printing from the Newman Hall Computer Lab:

  1. Print to “printqueue Paper Cut.”
  2. Go to the Print Release Station located in the 1South Computer Lab or the Newman Hall Lobby.

  4. Search for your print job in the queue, listed under your username.
  5. Hit “Print” to send your job to the printer.
