Newman Hall is an amazing place for students to live at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign! Not only are they the closest UIUC residence hall to the Quad, but also the food is great and everyone is treated like they are family. I am so thrilled by what my daughter has experienced living there. Best home away from home.

Newman Hall is home. Every day I wake up at Newman Hall, I wake up at home. Walking through the halls, I see my friends and my community. I love the bringing together of so many fantastic people, and the strength of the social fabric here. From simply spending time in the cafeteria to going on retreats to planned events, Newman Hall is oriented towards creating a welcoming, vibrant community. Every moment here has been a blessing and I am thankful for every day I get to spend here.

I love Newman Hall because it is my safe place here at UIUC. The friends that I have made here have made such an incredible impact on my and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to serve the Newman community as an RA. Being an RA is my favorite part about living at Newman! Along with the constant love and reassurance I get from my friends, coworkers, and priests, unending faith programs, work opportunities, a clean and spacious living environment, and Roma of course! I LOVE NEWMAN HALL!

Everyone has a home at Newman Hall; it is a safe haven on campus where you can find people who share common interests, the Catholic faith, and academic/life goals with you. I love that it is a place where everyone can fully enter into the many unique events and contribute to the fellowship and amazing qualities of Newman Hall. I truly couldn't imagine my college experience at Illinois without Newman!

Throughout my two years at the University of Illinois, I have experienced tremendous growth in my friendships, academics, and faith because of Newman Hall. My friends have become my family, the staff have become my mentors, and my love for Christ has only burned brighter. Newman Hall has provided me with an environment suitable for me to grow not only as a student, but as a person. The inspiring community of students is one of a kind and the friendships I have made will last a lifetime. For the past 4 years, I have had the gift of living at Newman Hall at the University of Illinois. During the most trying moments in college, this place kept me going. The kindness and support of the people, the 24-hour access to Jesus in the chapel, and the knowledge that I was surrounded by a safe community made this place my home. It is where I have made my best memories throughout college, where I have found the most peace and joy, and friends I will have for life! I can't imagine my college life at UIUC without Newman Hall!

Newman Hall gave me a place to call home and introduced me to my best friends who became like a family to me over the past few years. Finding so many people in college who share the same values as me seemed like it would be impossible - until I came to Newman Hall. I am beyond blessed to be here and be a part of such a positive, encouraging, uplifting, and faith-filled community that you could truly find nowhere else on campus. Daily Mass, delicious food, and prime location right next to the UIUC Main Quad are just added bonuses!

Living at Newman Hall at the University of Illinois means you always have a supportive community behind you, no matter who you are or where you come from. The people are friendly, the food is delicious, and no other dorm on campus has Jesus physically present in the Eucharist! I have been so blessed by my time here, and I can truly say that I belong at Newman Hall.
