- In December, you'll receive an invitation to complete your student housing contract and select your room style and meal plan. Choose from modern suite-style student housing or traditional dorm-style rooms.
- Throughout the spring, you'll have the opportunity to meet other returning upperclassmen and incoming Illini freshman residents and find a roommate and/or suitemate match using our Roommate Matching portal.

All current residents may reserve their existing 2023-2024 room style for next academic year (2024-2025) starting at 9:00 AM, Tuesday, 9/26, while inventory lasts.
Residents may select a NEW room style for 2024-2025 beginning:
- at 12:00 PM Tuesday, 9/26 for residents who have lived at Newman Hall for 5 or more semesters
- at 9:00 AM Wednesday, 9/27 for residents who have lived at Newman Hall for 3 or more semesters
- at 5:00 PM Wednesday, 9/28 for residents who are in their first semester living at Newman Hall
