Head Chaplain

Fr. Robert Lampitt is the Director and Head Chaplain of St. John's Catholic Newman Center, overseeing the breadth of pastoral and sacramental offerings available to the Catholic Illini community.

Fr. Matthew Hoelscher serves as Assistant Chaplain and Director of Evangelization for St. John's Catholic Newman Center.

Director of Religious Education

Shawn Reeves directs the religious education offerings at St. John's Catholic Newman Center, including leading the RCIA program as well as other special events.

Heath Morber directs the fantastic student choirs, cantors, and musicians at St. John's Catholic Newman Center.

Director of Small Group Discipleship & Evangelization

As Director of Small Group Discipleship & Evangelization, Leigh Boorn oversees the small group Bible studies and discipleship formation for student leaders at St. John's Catholic Newman Center.

Coordinator of Retreats

As Coordinator of Retreats, Liz Cassidy oversees St. John's Catholic Newman Center's efforts at raising up disciples through a variety of retreats wherein students are led to encounter Jesus Christ.

The Catholic Illini Missionary team provides peer mentorship and discipleship, oversees dozens of small group Bible Studies, and helps evangelize the campus.
